About Carolyn Pence

Carolyn Pence joined JR Law Group in 2022. She brings with her over 16 years of expertise and dedication to helping families transition through the difficult process of divorce. Carolyn is experienced in all aspects of divorce and family law, including child custody, division of assets and marital estates, alimony, post-divorce enforcement issues and divorce modifications.

Carolyn’s previous work with individuals with disabilities affords her a keen ability to understand those facing high levels of stress. Carolyn also has specialized training in mediation, and significant experience resolving complex financial matters. Clients appreciate her creative, problem-solving approach which she brings to every case.

Carolyn, a single mom, personally understands the issues facing divorced parents. She not only guides her clients through the legal process, but also provides resources to ensure their success as they face rebuilding their lives after divorce.
Carolyn has three fantastic daughters. She enjoys a collaborative co-parenting relationship with her children’s dad and their bonus mom. She is an avid endurance runner and is otherwise found at the sidelines cheering on her kids at alllll their activities.

Carolyn graduated with her Bachelor’s of Social Work from the University of Wyoming and her Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law school.
