Erica’s journey through the halls of education and the courtroom have shaped her into a dedicated advocate for families facing complex legal challenges. Erica began her academic journey at Brigham Young University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Prior to pursuing her legal career, she dedicated herself to education, teaching middle and high school students. These formative experiences underscore her commitment to empathy and effective communication in her legal practice. Her path eventually led her to Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she earned her Juris Doctorate.

Erica began her career in law as a Deputy District Attorney where she handled a spectrum of cases, including both felonies and misdemeanors, and gained invaluable courtroom experience. Erica’s passion for family law and her affinity for children’s issues set her apart as a compassionate advocate. She is now dedicated to guiding families through the complexities of divorce and custody matters, helping them find a path forward.

Erica is known for her unwavering support and her ability to reach favorable resolutions through mediation and negotiation. When trial becomes necessary, Erica’s extensive trial experience becomes a powerful asset, ensuring the best outcomes for her clients. Her personal experiences, having gone through her own divorce with children, equip her with firsthand insight into the magnitude of these life-altering events. These experiences inform her perspective as she navigates her clients through what can be an incredibly stressful time in their lives.

Outside the courtroom, Erica enjoys hiking, skiing, and biking, often with her blended family. Her personal experiences and unwavering commitment to her clients make her an exceptional asset in the realm of family law.
