Paralegal

Alex Guardado grew up in West Valley City, Utah, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Utah, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence. During his studies, a Judicial Process course taught by Third District Judge Stephen Nelson solidified his desire to pursue a career in law.

Prior to joining JR Law Group in November 2025, Alex worked as a Judicial Assistant for the Third District Court and later as a family law paralegal in private practice. As a Family Law Paralegal, he is known for his efficiency, attention to detail, and ability to translate clients’ experiences into clear, effective legal pleadings.

Alex brings a personal understanding of family law matters, having grown up in a family impacted by divorce. This perspective drives his commitment to providing compassionate, responsive support to clients. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, staying active at the gym, and following sports.
