
DIANN BURGENER
Mediator
Diann Burgener has over 30 years of hands on experience within the Fourth District
Court, where she developed a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the
judicial system. Throughout her career, she served in a wide range of roles, beginning
as a front counter service, and moving up to an in-court clerk, courtroom support, and
ultimately supervisory positions. Her work alongside over 20 judges helped her cultivate
a deep understanding of court administration and legal procedures.
Upon retiring from the court, Diann transitioned into a vital role as an assistant to
a retired judge in his mediation practice. Over the past decade, she has participated in
more than 2,000 divorce mediations, offering critical support in the resolution of complex
disputes and ensuring the efficient, fair, and professional facilitation of the mediation
process.
Diann’s extensive background in both court operations and mediation reflects
her enduring commitment to the legal community. She remains dedicated to helping
individuals navigate a settlement in mediation with integrity, professionalism, and
compassion.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Diann enjoys spending time outdoors, quilting,
and being with her family.
